IS THIS A RECURRING SUBSCRIPTION?
There are three ways of purchasing Gold Door Coffee Ltd.; a subscription, a gift, or a single-order.
Subscriptions are recurring orders, that charge and ship monthly. Gifts are one time purchases, shipping included, and include one 340g bag of house roast or featured Traveller roast delivered monthly for 'x' months purchased. Single-order purchases are one time orders of either house roasts or the current featured Traveller roaster, and shipped within two weeks of purchase.
CAN I GET MY COFFEE PRE-GROUND?
For the time being, we do not pre-grind our beans. Here's why:

WHEN & HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY COFFEE?
Gold Door Coffee Ltd. partners with Canada Post business shipping solutions, and offers heavily discounted flat-shipping options nationwide.
Gold Door Coffee does not currently ship outside of Canada.
House Roast subscription orders are fulfilled and shipped every Saturday; orders are guaranteed to ship within two weeks of purchase.
Travelling subscription orders are shipped once per month. Cut off for subscription tally is at the end of each month. Orders are then shipped by the 15th of the next (every) month; meaning if you purchase during the month of January, you join the subscription with February’s delivery.
WHAT COFFEE WILL I RECEIVE?
Gold Door Coffee Ltd. House Roast subscriptions include our in-house created roasts, which are small-batch roasted weekly and created in partnership with Calgary Heritage Roasting Co.
Gold Door Coffee Ltd. Travelling subscriptions are curated by our coffee sommelier, who hand selects a new Canadian small-batch roaster each month; meaning your coffee could be from Vancouver one month, and Montreal the next. Tasting profile, elevation, fruit processing, bean origin, farmer history, trade agreements, organic production, as well as Roaster history, community engagement and demand, are all factors in selecting an amazing bean each month.
HOW MUCH COFFEE WILL I RECEIVE?
Both House Roast and Travelling subscriptions range from 1-4, 340g bags of whole bean coffee. Gift options include a single 340g bag delivered monthly. Factors such as grind consistency, strength, and brewing method, all influence how many cups of coffee you'll get from a 340g bag; but it should make you approximately 33 cups of filtered coffee.
HOW DO I DISPOSE OF MY PACKAGING?
Here's the best part, compost disposal is accessible across Canada. Every piece of packaging you receive from Gold Door Coffee Ltd. can be placed directly into these compost sites (either at home, or for collection). Info cards and print work are done on plantable wildflower seed paper, that you can plant and watch grow. Packing peanuts are non-toxic and dissolve in water.
